Spend $1,000 on another hunting rifle...

Or...

Spend $1,000 on loading components and shoot your existing rifle more?

 I'd rather shoot the rifles I've got than get another one, and start saving for a new barrel!!! Love wearing out barrels!

I think I would stock up on components, 8 lb kegs are pricey.

I'm in pretty good shape for loading components. Only have about 2-3 more guns I'd like to have. Most of my next $1000.00 of gun money will be upgrading what I already have. Some bullet molds, match dies, maybe some shotgun loading equipment, slings, upgrade some scopes, things of that nature.

After my wife has finished putting 1000 rounds through her Walter P22 I'll consider getting her the 9mm/.40 Smith to match.

Well I have all the componets I need and I've already spend money on a new Bartlein 5r 7mm barrel up the gunmsith right now for another 280AI. I guess everyone has heard Kreiger going to make 5r barrels?

Any way I can double my money and do both? Seriously, I'm in good shape on components for the cartridges I shoot. I would probably invest in some other rifles just so I could work up loads.

I agree with DrMike, I have enough components for the rifles I own but there are still a couple that intrigue me.
It does not look like I will be getting that 35 whelan promised to me so I think I am going to try and find another.
The other two that has really sparked my interest is the 270 wsm or maybe the 300 wsm

Blessings,
Dan

Or spend the 1000 and go to Texas (or wherever) and shoot pigs

I have a good stock of reloading components and rifles. So, it's time to load up and go shoot what I already have.

Yeah, I am with the others, I "think" I have enough rifles, but I would like to put the money towards more shooting stuff, or buy license and tags for an out of state hunt for ELK! I am weak though, when I get an idea in my head for a rifle I want, I cave and get the rifle.. Scotty

Yeek!
That's a tough one.
My track record has been to buy more guns. But I think it would have been better spent on guided trips. I have more rifles than I need and only one guided hunt wich was very productive.
That's it !!!! I'm selling guns and buying a hunt!!!!!!! :x :x

All right, what you got for sale, Greg?

Thats funny.

I think I would opt for the components. I also am doing well in the rifle dept but.... a pair of new Zeiss bino's would be nice.

That is the main reason I backed out of the 30-06 addition to the family.

Already spent $1000 or more this past year on hunting club dues and reloading supplies for me and my son's rifles. Next $1000 would probable go to a hunting rifle.
