Yet another grizzly attack in WY. This fellow appears to have managed to scare off the bear with the handgun he was carrying, but shot himself in the leg.

Such encounters happen fast and we don't actually know how we would react until we have to. Glad that his son was able to get him out to meet emergency personnel.

this just happened in Gatlinburg in the Smokies, a black bear entered a vacation home through French doors and ran into the occupants and attacked. Luckily everyone involved lived. I think officials put the bear down.
