Not to be vindictive, but one might wish that those who ridicule might be in a similar situation....

Very nice country up there. Rural with lots of little farmsteads, in the valley. Kind of a summer yuppie destination spot. In the winter the highway west, is closed, so it restricts the growth in the area. I think about 30 miles south of the line. They probably lean slightly to the left.
 
Twisp is a small town in the winter. That area of the Methow River valley has been Californicated for many years. Winters with lots of snow and fewer deer from drought and too many coyotes are hard on the cats.
 
I love hunting, fishing, skiing, hiking and mountain biking in that valley and above it. Some tremendous country in the mountains above. Still a lot of mulies there...

Reading the story earlier, I was real impressed. She did good.

Did wonder how big brother liked being used as cat bait! :shock:

Maybe I should have titled this, "Evil Young Huntress Shoots Cougar." :grin:
 
You're right. She's a sister, she can't let him forget anything!

That is pretty doggone cool, the way that worked out.
