Glock for a 357?

My girlfriends father has a Smith and Wesson 357 with what appears to be a 3" barrel...he told me today he would like to trade it for a Glock 17. What say you all? Solid deal? I will take some pics tonight of the Smith because I have no idea what model it is.

You'll likely end up with a solid revolver, but some don't hold the value that others tend to hold.

Unless it's an old R&G Revolver I'd say "Go for it."

In my world any day you get rid of a Glock is a good day. :grin:

Most S&Ws have the model stamped on the frame underneath the crane. Swing the cylinder out and take a peak. You should see it in front of the cylinder. With a bit of luck, this link will take you to a good pic of what to look for... https://www.google.com/search?q=smith+% ... B580%3B480
