Buying a spotting scope. Which eye piece angle, straight or angled? Mostly be using on the bench and out of a vehicle. Never owned either but the angled looks like the better option.

I like angled . I can set the scope up beside me and just lean over to see through it . a straight one you need to be straight behind it .

I just received a new spotting scope for my birthday. A vortex. It has the angled eye piece. So far I really like it. I do find I need more practice getting it set up to view a particular spot quickly. Seems a little more difficult to sight along the top.
