New ABLR 6.5....150gr..

Look what was in my email, looked 40 minutes after the email was sent and out of stock.
Did anyone get any? Anyone even hear they were coming out?

I got the same email and by the time I looked, it said they were sold out. It made me think, were they ever actually in stock ?

Hard to say, they might not have had many, and I didn't see a limit. Anything 6.5 seems to sell out quick. I got looking and they do have load data for the Creed, PRC, and Nosler. I dont have any of those so maybe why i never noticed before.

Should be a great bullet for deer and antelope at long range from the fast 26 caliber offerings.

Fotis, I wondered the exact same thing when I got the email. Length is advertised as 1.495” which is about .055” longer than 147 ELDM is so the .630 ish G1 surprised me a little. Hornady advertises .697 G1 and it’s checked out for me when I ve used that and calc d my drops to 875 yds on our steel range.

Will be curious as guys get to demo those ABLR s in their 6.5 s. As mentioned should be a superb bullet for big game from end of your muzzle to as far as you can ethically hit an animal.

Another comparison shows 150 Sierra MK as 1.490” in length and a G1 of .713 until 1750 FPS ish at which point it drops to approx .680-.690. Let’s hope Nosler is being conservative on this bullets BC!

I just wish I can get these ABLRs to shoot. Anything from regular Remington barrels, to bartlein benchmarks and the proof research...... none of them shoot in my guns.

Oh man…. I may have to give these a shot.. they look decent.

Might try them in my mighty Swede.

Scotty, my thoughts too. 2800-2850 out of the Swede would make a pretty potent big game round. Hopefully they ll group.

Let us know if you get them running under some R26; my Fieldcraft might be ‘listening’ !

What twist is recommended for these? 8? Or faster?

I got ten boxes when I ordered there were only 80 available. Loading a few now see what they will do out of my 26. Started with LRT 83.5, 84, and 84.3 and have made three sets of ten see which one it likes.
