Maybe some velocity figures?“Favorite loads” is just a scary term to me. My rifle is different than yours and should be treated as such.
But in the spirit of your post-I love my 28. It shoots factory 175 ablr ammo extremely well and I have equaled that by using us869 powder and reusing the fired nosler brass, fed 215m primers. You can find your own seating depth. Good luck!View attachment 27754

that seems very mild for that bullet in a 28n?Christensen Mesa 28 nosler, 80 grains retumbo 175 grain Berger elite , 10,000 this jump 1-9 twist 3120 fps , target was at 100 yards.
Mild sure , accurate absolutely. Most important part deadly.that seems very mild for that bullet in a 28n?

Got that & Retumbo as well. Think the new Ramshot Grand might be worth a try as well.Get some H1000....
Good luck! Hope it’s a ringer for you.My rifle is on the way. It's coming with 4 boxes of Nosler ammo 60 of the E-tips load & 20 of the 160 grain AccuBond.
I'll use the E-tips to get my scope zero in start at 100 & work my way out to 500 on the local range.

Grand is working out pretty nicely for many cartridges. It is in the h1000 reloader 26 and a retumbo burn rate region.Got that & Retumbo as well. Think the new Ramshot Grand might be worth a try as well.

I've heard (never tested this) it's very temperamental to ambient temp swings. You essentially have to load it in the same conditions you plan to shoot. Is it really that bad though?Grand is working out pretty nicely for many cartridges. It is in the h1000 reloader 26 and a retumbo burn rate region.
