Anyone here had Accubonds come apart in the box? I found 3 that the tip had separated from the bullet and one fell off while handling it. It makes me skeptical when thinking about loading the remaining bullets. Thoughts?

I've run into that problem numerous times but only with seconds. I sent Nosler an email with a photo and they gave me store credit in the proshop. They made no statement about what caused the breakage.

I had that issue before. I contacted Nosler and they asked for some pictures and lot numbers on 3-4 boxes of Ballistic Tips where the tips fell out. I emailed Nosler along with some pictures. Nosler investigated the lot numbers and mentioned that those bullets were so old and sent me a replacement of 5 boxes. I suggest you contact Nosler and they should help you out.

I purchased a couple of boxes when they were first released that had three or four in each box sans tips or with the tips falling out. Being in the Great White North, there wasn't much Nosler was prepared to do, though they did send me a couple of Nosler caps. I used the "tipless (untipped?) AccuBonds for fouling. Haven't had that problem since with multiple boxes of the bullets.

Looking at the box that's definitely and older box.

I never had any issues with tips. I did have issues with the jacket on a box one time. They said it was an issue with the bonding process in older batches they they had since fixed. Asked for lot numbers and sent me replacements.

Send Nosler the picture and lot numbers and I'm sure they will help.

Yes, it appears you have an older box where this occurred when they were first introduced. I had 3 or 4 do this in the first year with the 30 cal 180 gr ABs. I even had one inserted in the bullet backwards...loaded it but haven't shot it as yet...kind of a unique item!
Has not been a problem since.
Use them for practice...you won't see much difference in their performance at shorter distances, as DrMike said.
