I got invited to NY for the early antlerless season and to shoot some deer on crop damage tags. I killed 2 doe and figured I would report the results on the 140 TGK.
The load:

Doe 1:
I did not get pics of entry/exit since were loosing light and had driven 11hrs from NC and still had to clean deer and setup camp. We saw 16 bucks and at sunset had 4 doe come out. I only saw the front 3 and my buddy only saw the back 3. He thought I was shooting the 3rd deer in line and she was about to get behind a dip in the field so I rushed the shot on the bigger doe. Shot was low and back. She mule kicked, ran a few yards and stopped. I could see a hole a little bigger than a softball in her that was low and back with gut hanging out. The shot was 100% fatal since it destroyed her liver and part of a lung but I already had a 2nd round chambered and smoked her in the shoulder to anchor her in the beans and end the suffering. I was mad at myself for a poor first shot but total time between shot 1 and 2 was less than 30 sec.
Shot distance was 125yds. The 2nd shot was dead center of the shoulder. Exit was the size of a silver dollar. Live weight, est. 130lbs.
Doe 2:
I was setup overlooking 2 bean fields. Shots out to 400yds. Luckily the shot was just under half that. I saw 9 bucks and 5 doe but they were all a bit father than I was really interested in shooting and eventually had 2 doe come out just over 125 yards from me. They worked down the field line behind some brush and by the time I had a shot they were at 185yrd. I dialed the adjustment in my scope, got comfortable on the tripod and squeezed the trigger. After chamber a 2nd round I found her laying in the field. DRT. She never moved a muscle.
Live weight est. 100lbs. Shot was in the 6/7th rib area and did not exit. Entrance wound was a little bigger than a baseball and clipped the under side of her spine.
Solid performance from the 140 TGK. I have used this bullet in the same weight in my 6.5 PRC with similar results so I wasn't expecting anything less. Overall, very satisfied with the results and will keep using them for the year since I have plenty loaded for the season.
