ADG vs Petersen Brass

Who has used both?
And which do you prefer?
And why?

I have acquired some Petersen brass for my 25 Creedmoor rifle that is currently at the gunsmith.
And I am looking at some Petersen brass for sale for the 7mm PRC, which I have only shot factory ammo to date, but still need some dies for to be ready to handload. I was originally looking at picking up some ADG brass that is also available, hence the question. Price is within $5/50 pieces for either.

I believe i have both but in different cartridges. I do know I have adg in 7saum and think I have Peterson in 25creed? I'll check later but haven't used either yet.

Checking my purchase history with midsouth I did buy some from there, but not enough info to know if srp or lrp?

Im awaiting on my 25creed barrels to come in from an April and May orders. Any info I give when it comes to brass it will be from an AR unless it's requires a long action and that includes 6.5prc and 7saum.

from what I can tell , it's a flip of the coin . both seem to be good quality , and doing well .

I’ve only used Peterson brass (6.5 Wby RPM and 30 Nosler) and it’s very nice brass.

I don't remember seeing ADG seconds . they have polished and not polished . Peterson does sell cosmetic seconds fairly cheap . not sure if you can get them in Canada though . my Peterson seconds came in a bag , not in a nice plastic ammo box, like first quality are packed .

Have not used ADG but my limited experience with Peterson has been good and will buy more as the need arises. My son has been using Peterson for some time and suggested I should try it. It was a good suggestion. Have heard it called the American equivalent of Lapua brass.

Peterson for me.
I tried ADG when they first came to market and wasn’t all that impressed. New the 300 WM brass would barely hold a primer and the 6.5 Creed primer pockets were tight. I’m sure over the years they have improved their brass.

Where did you see Petersons seconds brass? I havent seen that.

sometimes peterson sells them on their site. don't know if they still do tho? then again i could have them confused with adg

ADG has been less than consistent in recent years. I’ve gotten brass that wouldn’t stand a reduced first firing load without excessive expansion at the pressure ring and the pockets started out at the upper spec number. Very soft material.

If you have the option I’d bet my money on Peterson, it’s been tough AND consistent in my experience.

I picked up some ADG seconds from Midway awhile back. The brass had some minor blemishes but nothing big. After one firing and tumbling I can't tell the difference really between it and the Normal box Is bought.
