Hi everyone! Built a 338 edge and looking for some load data. I have several powders to try. I also have 250 bergers, 265 lrx, 285 eldm, 300 smk. I have loaded the 300 smk with good results using h1000 but my velocity deviation is crazy around 50 fps between each round. Gonna try .2 increments...

You sir are absolutely right. I will be using the 285 eldm, 300 berger, or 300 smk. I guess I should have mentioned that in my first post. I have ran my heavy 7mm out to 2k with alright results. Cant wait to push this out that distance.

Hey everybody! So I finally got a 338 rum rifle that is currently being transitioned into a 338 edge. Has a 26 inch tube on it. Just wondering what everyone has for load data. I will be using this rifle for hunting as well as my 2k shooting. I appreciate it!

That's a great point and thank you for bringing that up!! I did look at the crown and it looked great. My gun smith (Randy Selby) also looked at the crown and didnt say anything was wrong with it. But thank you again for reminding me about that! (y)

:lol: Isn't that the truth! Just going by my eyes. The scope I installed on there came off my custom 6 creedmoor and was doing awesome on there. So hopefully when I get the gun back it will do better.

I took the stock off and all seems good. The company glass bedded it and I checked and there is no barrel to stock contact. I took it to my smith last night and he thinks the action might me a little twisted in the current bedding so he is gonna re bed it.

The load is 208 a max loaded with 77.6 grains h1000 cci 250 primer in a winchester case. Oal of bullet is 3.635 velocity is 2925 fps. When I sent the bullets through the crony my deviation was 2 fps within 5 shots. First bullet was 2918 which was the lowest and the fastest was 2920. The shots...
