I’m very appreciative of so many of you.
I won’t name you all out of fear I’d miss many of you. But I’ve learned much more than reloading. You treat others well, live principled lives. Care for others. You’re running a great race! Keep it up!

I have another set… if a local friend doesn’t reply, I’ll post another popular cartridge.
RCBS group A part# 12201 250 Savage Die set. Made in 77. FL/Seater were cleaned and treated with Gibbs (penetrating oil with rust preventative). Would like to give dies to a new home. Would like shipping. Weighted this set in its green box, 1# 1 oz.

This is part of rationalizing all my loads and specifically today was 243 win Nosler Ballistic tip. The intention is to load up ballistic tips and partitions for this rifle. I had great success with SGK 85gn HP doing doe patrol on a tight parcel (subdivision on both north and south borders of...
Used that bullet Sierra Game King 85 gn HPBT over 49.1gn RL26 in 243Win. Was getting 3250fps. Used it on crop damage deer. 6 shot. 6 recovered. 5 took zero steps. No exit wounds. As you mentioned, no obviously recoverable bullet. The odd deer, had an exit wound. Made it 25 yards and...
Did the TSX (170gn HP) in 350 legend for a farmer doing crop damage. Was able to make ammo that matched the boxed Barnes 350 legend using Starline brass and win296 powder. Was very happy when scope needed no adjustments.
When you get around to Sierras… you’ll find lots of bullets that fly...
I did it. Was using tightgroup on my 45acp.

FIL saw a squib and saved a 357. The bullet was...
I don’t have a 35 Whelan yet. So not the right responder for your question. The 35 Whelan is on my Bucket list and I have been actively looking for a donor to do a build. Just haven’t found a donor at the right price point.
Powders I was planning on using in the 225 range for the 35 Whelan...
Meant to add the list of bullets I’ll be abandoning as they over lap with bullets listed. I think what I’d like to do is offer them in the want ad section. I’d like to make them free to good home, but my wife would not be pleased with me paying a lot of postage to give away unloved bullets...
Well, I have a shelf full of completely useful powders and bullets that don’t get used and I keep reaching for favorites. Having more time on my hands than is healthy, I’ve decided to simplify. Atleast try too.
I’m dividing all my powders into one of two categories. Hunting powders and...
