The FFII are sitting on 300 wsm browning a-bolt and they are holding up well.
My 300 RUM browning a-bolt has a HD5 zeiss on it now, it did have a signature series on it that went back and was sold.
My Nikon scopes have always done very well for me, not a single one has gone...
I would have to agree with Vince, the HD5 is a fine piece of glass :grin:
I have quite a bit of experiences with the burris optics as they are local to me (Greeley, Colo). I will sadly report that every burris scope I have had has been back to burris for issues.

Picked up a new zeiss conquest HD 3x-15x z-plex for her! Nosler is installing a removable muzzle break on her and checking the rest out.
The muzzle break will come in handy for the two young boys I have! Got to get them started with the best then they can try the rest : ).

Well it appears Nosler agrees and makes some 35 Whelen rifles, I will have to check out my reloading Manuel when I get home and see what this vintage wild cat can do!
It appears ammo/compents are available as well.

As far as the HD5 goes what major difference do you see? Scopes I have that are mounted since the rest of the rifle will more then likely just sit during season : ).

Yep going to start with my old reliable load of imr 4831 with 180 grain partition golds. I have taken over 20 animals with this bullet and have never had a issue...
