I've had good luck with H4895, varget, cfe223 and AA2230. Hard to say which is best as I shoot a lot of different bullet weights out of different rifles. I have probably used AA2230 the most with 55 grainers.

780 works well in my .270 wsm. It is my go to powder for that caliber.

I just picked up my first lever a mint model 94 built in '78 in 30-30 . I don't think it was ever fired! I'm gonna keep it original and just use the open sights. I already love it and can't believe I waited this long to get a lever!
