Primed Brass

Is there any problem with getting primed brass shipped? I am in Alaska so it might be different for me than for some of you folks.

UPS will ship ammo with the proper diamond decal applied here on the main land , not sure about Alaska.
For what it’s worth nock the primers out and ship the brass anyway you want.

I see some sitesthat have primed brass for sale. Some of them have both primed and un-primed. The price difference is not much and with the cost of primers the primed brass is cheaper. That is what caused me to ask.

Shipping is on them so there is nothing to worry about. Shipping to Alaska may be a tad bit more than here on the lower 48.

I see primed brass for sale on different sites at times. It's perfectly legal to ship. As stated just might cost more due to your location.

Can't speak to Alaska but in the mainland U.S. no problems getting them delivered

i've received primed brass, but don't remember if there was a hazmat sticker on it? call the place in question and ask if it requires special shipping? btw, if it's jag primed brass don't buy as what i received was/had terrible primers and the brass wasn't so food as many necks and .200 (roughly) mark would split also. however, if it's lapua go for it as i had a great deal on primed 338lm brass that cost about 50c per case/brass less than non (somewhere just over $2/per).

Primed brass can be shipped hazmat free I've ordered multiple times from multiple sites with no issues. Seems like loose primers are considered hazmat but once in a casing they are good to go.
