On our way home today, just inside the city limits, still doing 45 mph. “Did you see that buck” but Cat had missed him. I gotta show you where he’s bedded. Our town is pretty quiet so I just backed down the road about a 100 yards. “ see him now” I ask. I get the old evil eye. “How the hell did you see him and you never seem to be able to see the clutter you leave around the house! The container is about 30 yards off the road placed perpendicular to the lane.

I should have had my phone on me yesterday!
I was mowing the lawn, and was coming back along the edge to the front yard when a 170 class 5x5 whitetail crossed the road in front of the yard and stood there looking at me from 25 yards for a couple of moments. Looked pretty good for a buck with a month of antler growth still ahead of him!
