Gunsmith called my 375 Ruger is done and ready to be delivered to me.

I look forward to getting it back and seeing how it shoots. Maybe I’ll take it and the .338 Win Mag to Africa this year.

Even if you aren't after your buffalo, it will still give you some great field experience with it on your plains game safari, and that would be a great primer for the next one where you do plan to chase Black Death!

I’m not sure yet.
I’ll check out my PH in Port Elizabeth but I’m also talking with a PH that a buddy hunted with. I’m pretty specific in what I’m looking for.

The 375 Ruger is a lot of rifle. It should serve you well in Africa.

I’m kind of thinking it’s an unnecessary caliber.
My three gun battery is becoming;

6,5 Creedmoor
.338 Win Mag
.416 Taylor

While I have other Boomers those are becoming the cartridges I would rely on for 99% of my hunting.
