I've started looking at the 25 creed, looking at some published load data it only seems to lag behind the 2506 by 100fps give or take, so Im curious who's using one and is this reality pushing a 120gr over 3000fps?
If this is the case I may seriously think about putting one together on a M70 push feed i have for nice lightweight hunting rifle.

I am not going to be helpful as so far my only 25 Creed has a 14" barrel (Hornady brass).
110 AB at 2726 fps

I will be getting a sub 16" 25 Creed in the near future though. Almost 2 inches more of barrel...Will start with the 134 ELD-M's though

Nothing yet...
My 250AI is the same case, but using a 1:10 twist barrel. Hope to get 3200 fps with the 110 gr AB with Re-26.

I am considering the 25 Creedmoor too. May rebarrel my LH Browning X Bolt All Weather next year. Or consider the Proof Research Elevation 2.0 as it is available in left hand.

Hornady is claiming 2850 fps for their new 128 gr EDL-X ammo. (Will be interesting to see, as I find all of the Hunter Precision ammo I have been trying is over 100 fps slower than spec'd, with some almost 270 fps slow. I get normal velocities with other factory ammo in the same rifles.)
From what I am reading, the 120 gr should be fine with the 1:8 twist, the 125-130gr with the 1:7.5 twist and the 133+gr with the 1:7 twist barrels.

My 25 Creed also has a 14” barrel. Awhile back I did a little powder comparison with 115 gr BTs. 3000 fps I believe would be doable with a rifle , not sure on 120s.

What twist do you have?
And how do the 115s perform in the faster twist?
