Hello,
I'm curious on what you all are hearing about the price of reloading supplies? I have mentioned on other threads I am very close to the owners of our local gun store. One of the owners was at my house yesterday for a Steelers watch party. He mentioned to me then that the price of ammo is going to have a significant bump 10/1 and that I should buy mine prior to hunting season getting here. I told him I'm stocked up and I hunt with my reloads anyway. He then proceeded to tell me that primers are going to bump in cost roughly 12% sometime in October, bullets are going to bump around the same before November, and that powder is going to almost double sometime in October. I asked him why powder prices are getting so out of hand, he said that all powders use nitrocellulose from China and they have over compensated the pricing on this due to tariffs.

I wanted to one pass the word along so you all can go buy before the price hack hits, and also see what all you are hearing on your end.

Well since you put it that way and Midway has Remington large rifle primers on sale by today's standards I grabbed a brick. Did not have any 9 1/2 primers now I have primers from Remy, Winnie, Federal, and CCI to play with

My local Sportsman's Warehouse has IMR 4350 for sale at $69.99 per pound. I am disgusted.

I can get that here for 48.99, which is still high to me. I’m curious to see what prices do though and we all know, once they go up.. they hardly come down. I need more N165 but everyone is sold out. I’m hoping I can snag some before the price hack.

Don't know about price increase but seen powder showing up that hasn't been available for quite awhile. In two different stores I have seen H4895. This has been absent in my area for some time. Not cheap but available. Think was $65-67 lb.

At least primers have been going down. Saw CCI Large Rifle on line for $63.99 per Thousand today.

Walked into my LGS this evening and they had more powder in stock than I have seen in a long, long time. I don't know if that's in anticipation of price increases, or it just happened to be that way. They had about a third of that when I was there last week.

May as well start using a bow and arrow at this point. So disappointing.

You might want to look at what they charge for broadheads. When I shoot my crossbow at a deer the bolt and broadhead cost about $30 combined and after a few shots the bolts usually break.

You guys are welcome to go to archery and flintlocks 😇 ...I do hunt with a bow every once in awhile, but I am going to hunting with center-fire weapons, primarily various handguns.

I see a few different Alliant powders on that shelf, I can't find any of that around here! Is your H1000 39.24???
