Swift 210 Scirocco 338 WM 2990FPS

Every time I load these I get pressure. Today I had them loaded with 69.5grs R17, 70grs and 70.5grs. Hard bolt lift with 69.5 and when I tried the 70gr load the first shot I had to slap the bolt with my palm to get it to open. I stopped right there and when I got home I pulled the bullets from the rest of the loads.

they need bullet jump for accuracy. I had trouble with the Sirocco bullets and called swift. They said seat them deeper. Sure enough the shot great with a lot of jump.

I’m just pondering how to get 2860fps with the 210-grain Scirocco in a .338-06AI. THAT’s impressive.

TG here is the recipe I use. Winchester brass
CCI 250 primer
62.0gr RL17
3.330 OAL
Do you shoot a 338-06AI as well? The rifle is a custom 24 inch Gaillard barrel mated to a Remington 700.
No sticky bolt and primers are fine.
