Where is Spring!

the outside temps have taken a dive for me , but signs of spring are all around . about 1 week ago I saw my first Robbins , now they are everywhere . I've seen a few nice flocks of geese flying north . yesterday morning at daybreak , it was 19* , there was a gobbler just going crazy . my daffodils are up out of the ground . yea , made it through another one .

The turkeys have shown up here the past week including 5-6 big Toms. Got a picture of a big tom strutting in one of the food plots a couple mornings ago. I need to have my coffee in one of the blinds and enjoy the sunrise along with the sights and sounds of spring. I might wait until after this weekend to snowstorm. On second thought, the blinds are heated! 🤔

Sunny and warm here in Oklahoma. Highs in the 60's, 70's and 80's... Have been doing yard work also buzzing around on my motorcycle. Walking almost every day.

We did have a pesky tornado last week... Only had to shovel snow once this past winter - huge change from central Washington! :)

This afternoon we went from a Winter Storm Warning to a Blizzard Warning for tomorrow thru Monday afternoon. There has been only 2 Blizzard Warning for my county in the last 25 yrs , must be some serious crap moving in tonight.

It was 75 degrees here in upstate SC today. We have had some 80-degree days the past week or so. Things are budding, and the peach trees are starting to bloom and turkeys are starting to gobble. However, we are expecting colder weather this upcoming week with lows in the upper 20s and highs around 48-52 degrees.

Hopefully this doesn't manifest into the conditions that central and eastern Nebraska experienced in early 2019.

We'd had close to two feet of snow on the ground from storms in February then in early March we had some more storms pass through that dumped substantial amounts of rain on the region causing rapid snowmelt, widespread flooding and the failure of Spencer Dam located on the Niobrara River.

12-15 inches of "Spring" forecast here in the next 48 hours. Its time for boys state B-ball tournaments here. That's about average most years. That -5 below temp forecast for Tuesday night is gonna suck though. CL
