Weatherby's New Cartridge....

The 7-6.5PRCW is the darling of F-Class fellas I hear. Makes sense as it is really a shorter action'ed 280/280 AI class cartridge.

McWhorter is a class act. Lots of premium upgrades.

when I was hot for a bigger 7mm , I was thinking about the STW . I had a few guys tell me if I went for a 7mmSTW to get McWhorther to build it . they supposedly have something figured out on the cartridge that is very favorable .

I know they are selling, and it's obvious they don't care to take the step into using girth instead of length for capacity, but long and slender cases are not the way...short and fat kills them in every way, assuming case capacity is the same.
If a guy hasn't tried it before, he really needs to. The ability to tune and keep them there can't be overstated. Efficiency from better ignition is key, 40 degree shoulders encourage more case burn and protect the throat.
Weatherby will catch up one day.
I just wish I would have made the transition sooner.

Even the case capacities that seem ridiculously over bore behave nicely...

Yes. I use the brass in my 375 BAS. ELR rifle, 375 Chyetac improved. Very uniform brass.

I've never used it but it's supposed to be really good brass right?
In my opinion, it's one of the best. I have switched most of my personal round over to Peterson. I have used all of them and I put it up there with Lapua, ADG, Alpha..
