6 BRA built by Bat Machine. Need to look for a scope and rings from EuroOptics. Once the rifle is dressed up, I will clean the rifle and lube the bolt, run a bore scope to check things in chamber and barrel. If all is good, I'll run 28, 28.2, and 28.4 grain charges, 4 rounds each and all jammed .015-.020" into the lands to fireform from 6 BR to 6 BRA. I like to keep the case tight against the boltface when firing to get a good fireform. I will shoot one round first, clean and inspect the patches, then shoot a 2nd round and clean, then do 4 round strings. Hopefully I see some promise. I'll be starting with 103 Daggers from Barts.

you got a "bra":ROFLMAO:.

Decided to go with the NightForce ATACR 7-35 x 56 MOAR-T, I have the same on the 6 BR and worked well for me. Once it comes in, I'll measure for the 34mm rings.
I could upgrade to higher magnification in the future, if needed but at this point I'll stick with the 7-35X, I can swap this out with my other ATACR 5-25X at a later time and sell the 5-25X. I like to replace all of the four 5-25X that I have with the 7-35X. EuroOptics made me an offer today for the 7-35X, knocked off 500 bucks plus free shipping. EuroOptics also offered me $2,000 off plus free shipping as well if I were to buy four 7-35X from them. 😎 Great company to deal with.
The 7-35 has a higher diopter than the 5-25, and clarity is a lot better for aging eyes.

Euro optic is a class act.

I wonder how the ATACR compares to the NX6 . the NX6 has more internal travel , if the glass is good . the last I stopped in Euro optics the NX6 was not out yet .

Wow, I never knew about the NX6, it looks similar to the ATACR and specs look pretty close and its lighter.

Congratulations looks great! I agree that Europtic is a class act. I just got my 2-12x40 Nightforce NX6 the other day. Fast shipping and as usual awesome NF scope! I also have an "ATACR" and it is also a great scope. Both track great and very good glass.

What scope are you looking at?

yep , I'd like to know how the glass is in the NX6 .it's been a while , but the last time I was in Euro Optics they had the shelves arranged for the NX6 , but no NX6's were on display . I asked about them , thinking maybe they just didn't get them on the shelve yet . I was told they are ready for them , but didn't receive them yet . "IF" the NX6 has ATACR glass , the NX6 would probably be the way to go .

I'd like to get an , ATACR , NX6 , and the vortex razor , in around the 6-36 power range , for a weekend . using them in field conditions , high humidity , heat waves ,mirage , etc , separate the men from the boys , so to speak . some of the guys I shot long range with , were Athlon fans . when conditions got tough , they couldn't use the higher power on their scopes . my NXS , I could run it at max 32 , in most conditions . the ATACR , is supposed to have better glass than the NXS .

one guy had an IOR , VALDADA scope . it had a tremendous amount of internal elevation . I want to say maybe 150 MOA . I never looked through it , in bad conditions , to compare it to my NXS .

have you spent enough time with the big vortex scope yet , to have an opinion on it ?

If you're talking about the Vortex Razor 6-36x56mm yes I have. I find nothing bad I can say about it. Everything is as expected and I am very pleased with it. Quality, ruggedness- (I'm sure)- even though I have not beat it up yet, tracking all that stuff is awesome. Just like my ATACR. If I can change one thing in both these scopes it would be the objective size. I totally despise 56mm, heck I do not even like 50mm for that matter. Give me a good 44 or 42 mil and I am happy.

The G3 Razor 6-36x is a great scope. Last match I shot was 85 degrees, sunny, over a wheat field and I had no issues running it 25x the whole match. Of course their was quite a bit of mirage that day, but the Razor cut through it pretty well and the glass is amazing. It's easily on par or better than my S&B PMII 5-25x

I also had a Valdada Recon G2 5-30x56 on it a month prior for another match. It wasn't near as hot, and wasn't shooting over a wheat field, so mirage wasnt near as bad. I was able to run it at 30x the whole match. Great glass also in the Valdada, again on par to the S&B and G3 Razor. Ton of elevation. I just wasn't a fan of the reticle. The center dot got way to big once you got past 20x.

The reticle in the Razor is way better for precision shooting. The center dot stays the size of a pin hole up to 36x.
