I have been shooting deer for about three years with the 115 BST, 115 BT, and the 110 accubond. All of them loaded with 49.0 grains of RL19. Havent chronographed yet but under 3/4 inch in five different rifles. Both rounds are proven for White tail deer in the Texas hill country.
I think I found the best of the best for hand loaders, hunters and long range shooters. RSI shooting lab. This is the mother load for reloaders who are always looking for the best load performance. Take a few minutes to view this product and the other hardware they offer. They dont try to...
So far my research is pointing to three programs. Oehler Ballistic explorer, Quick load, and RCBS.load . Quickload looks good because of internal Ballistics. RCBS.load looks good for loading chronograph hand load data. Quickload may be the best user interface. Oehler allows you to compare 3...
Just bought a shooting chrony beta master. Wanted to see if anyone knows if the ballistic software they offer is any good. Or if any other software will retrieve data from it.
I have used RL-19 with 110 accubonds and the 115 bt&bst with excellent results in 4 different rifles.

It was the correct call. Even testing a new load with Nosler data two of the groups were under an inch with only a slight bit of stringing. The final...
Wow lots of input. The barrel is indeed fowled I guess I should have stated it is just the first shot. I am going to add pressure at the front of the barrel and see what happens. I am addicted to reloading it is awesome.
That is great advice. So far I have tried .005, .010,.015,.020,.025. many different loads and powders. The best group is with RL19 59.5 grains and 150 grain accubond. I was just wondering if it might just be the featherlight barrel and if free floating it was a mistake. Or if there is a way to...
I have a Ruger M77 MKII 30.06 featherlight barrel. Modified rifle with a custom glass bedded stock with free floating barrel. first shot is always dead center.
when looking for groupimg to reload the next three shots are up 1 innch and left 1/2 inch in a group that can be covered with a nickle...
