Thanks for the info Mike. I played around with it tonight and found that I can reach the lands with the partition. Would you recommend I that I seat the bullets close to start with? I will start with RL22 when I get my dies.

I just picked up a Vangaurd S2 in 240 WBY. I would like to shoot the 100gr Partition. I have RL22, Magpro and Retumbo on hand. If someone has suggestions or could run a Quickload that would be wonderful.

I have not tried any other powders. I have had so little time to play with this gun, but hope to do more in the future. My barrel is 26" with an 8 twist. The throat is quite short on mine, I actually have more room in the magazine than I can use.

I am using the Redding die set. Resizing has been easy, one time through the sizing die and it is ready. Have read where some were crushing cases when using 300WSM brass though.

I am using 270WSM brass. It is the same as the 300WSM. The 7mmWSM has a little longer body.

First range report. After some break in and scope sighting I got to shoting some groups. All loads used Retumbo. Started at 59.0 gr with 140 AB, 130 Scirocco, and 129 SST. Much to my surprise the 140 AB loads had lots of pressure signs, Stiff bolt, extractor marks and severely flattened...
