    Work Sharp Knife Sharpener

Link http://www.amazon.com/Work-Sharp-Knife- ... +sharpener A relative of mine turned me on to this knife sharpener. An upgraded model of this sharpener is out (called the Work Sharp Ken Onion edition), but I went with the original model because it is cheaper, as are the replacement belts...

    Wipe out and gas guns?

Regarding the AR ....(assuming it is a straight gas fired and not a piston driven system) I am not familiar with Wipe Out, but I have used foaming copper and bore cleaners/removers in my gas driven AR's from time to time for a long time....supposed to or not, I don't know...but I haven't had...

    headspace gauge for AR15?

I should have also added this. Just remember....if you are trimming brass to a consistent length....for every .001 you add to the headspaced length on your sized brass.....the same .001 will get trimmed from the neck. So on AR brass....because I know I am sizing them over SAAMI headspace...

    headspace gauge for AR15?

Yep I do. Main reason I manage/control/set my headspace is because many FLS dies set shoulders/headspace all the way back to SAAMI minimums ..... so the brass they resize will work for the masses and chamber in the masses guns (even in the instances where chambers are cut closer to minimums...

    Varmint load for 16" AR?

We run a few DPMS 1:9 .223 bulls in our crew... 20 inchers and longer...but it really doesn't matter...DPMS sells a good bull barrel imo. Don't waste a second thinking about the 16 vs longer velocity differences ...with the lighter bullets... velocities will be plenty fast regardless...

    222 Rem. and H322 - Quickload pleeease....

I am confident someone will come along and help you out on your request for load info. FYI..if you are tired of waiting on your H322 powder .... Powder Valley currently has 8's of H322 in stock and available online. I have a couple of varmint rigs in 223 that love that powder with light...

    Annealing brass

Not normal imo .... If I notice anything at all, it's that they actually resize easier (because the brass is more pliable) Second, regarding your expander ball .... it's probably one of three things assuming they were annealed correctly (which may not be the case if you aren't using tempilaq -...

    Annealing brass

My 2 cents . #1 piece of advise for annealing rifle brass ....Use tempilaq 750 inside neck and 400 or 450 on base. Reason: As we all know, consistency matters when reloading for accuracy, this includes brass prep....and when annealing. Inconsistently heated/annealed brass due to...

Giraud Brass Trimmer - New Offering

I now have processed over 1000 brass, in .223, to test drive the Giraud Tri-Way, and I love it. It's a keeper for me. Have since become aware of another trimmer called the Trim It. It looks like it originally came out as just a cutter (like the WFT), but with a potentially better length...

Semi Auto Brass Catcher that can withstand heavy jostling

For those who run semi auto's and like to save brass, I thought I'd share this. http://www.tacticalbrassrecovery.com/AR ... /tbbg6.htm It is Tactical Brass Recovery's base model. This is what I have been using on AR's, and I like it a lot. Over the years I tried the inexpensive Velcro bags...

Giraud Brass Trimmer - New Offering

Giraud Tri Way Test I ended up being able to get to this over the weekend. I adjusted the Tri-Way to my desired cut and length...and proceeded to run 500 pieces of brass. The Tri-Way is the real deal! (Slicker than goose grease on glass Howard) Only tips I think I learned are ... you need...

Giraud Brass Trimmer - New Offering

Not my video, but for those who have never used a shoulder indexing trimmer...here is an example of a tri-way attached to a drill in action https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUmzQZmU5oc The user here also demonstrates the 1/4-1/2 turn at the end of the cut I was trying to describe above. This...
