Anyone finding LR primers for sale?

My primer shortage has been resolved, thanks to a tip from @ReloadKy , who lives nearby. Our LGS got a good supply of Fed 210GM and 215GM recently, and at reasonable prices for today's market ($102.99 / $112.99). I took a long lunch and picked up 2 bricks of 210's. I'll grab another brick of...

Anyone finding LR primers for sale?

It's been months since I've seen them available anywhere. CCI, Federal, Winchester... scarce as hens' teeth.

Frankford Arsenal trim and prep center

So, I bought one of these. Stole it, more like. Natchez SS has them listed in their July sale catalog for $99.99. When I checked the website, the price was $175, on sale. Talked to a guy who said he would have to verify the sale price and would call me back later that day. Well, he called back...

Frankford Arsenal trim and prep center

Anyone using one? What's the word on them? I've heard good things, for the average guy reloader. Not benchrest precision, but plenty good enough for the rest of us. What have your experiences been?

    Magnum vs standard rifle primer

General rule of thumb: If more than about 50-60gr of powder, use a magnum primer. If using ball powder, use a magnum primer. If hunting in very cold weather, use a magnum primer. Again, these are just general guidelines.

    Lest We Forget

My family has been very fortunate. I had a great-uncle who was severely wounded on D-Day. Shot thru the neck, the bullet came out his ear on the other side. But he survived with hearing loss in that ear. Had 2 uncles in Vietnam, one in SF (Green Beret) and the other in the 101st. Both had their...

    Turkey fan preservation

I've only done a few, but it was pretty easy. I took a piece of plywood and added some small nails strategically placed to hold the fan open. Coat the meaty base of the tail with borax, position it on the plywood, and let it sit. Every day or two, take it off the board, flip it over, and replace...
