What is everyone's twist rate in their 6mm? Guessing the majority is 10.

Looks like they will not fully stabilize out of my 240 BackCountry.

I would take the 6.5, no regrets. It will do anything the 243 is doing, only better and at longer distances (if that is something you practice and are comfortable doing).

It's interesting. SAAMI max is 55,000 PSI. I've been shooting 28.0 grains of 2520 with a 53 grain Varmageddon

I want to try the 6mm version in my 240 but I can all but guarantee that I don't have the twist to take full advantage of that BC.

43.0 grains of RL17 gave me 2912 ft/s and 3/4" (3 shot) at 100 yards with the 129 48.0 grain of RL26 produced 2810 ft/s and 5/8" (3 shot) at 100 yards with the 142 No signs of pressure. Great for a light rifle that has a barrel profile the size of my pinky finger.

That's where I started so I'll see how it goes. I decided to give up on that powder with the 129gr bullet, as I can't get enough powder in the case to make it worthwhile.

I did pretty well with Benchmark. Accuracy was certainly there and speed was acceptable.

I just picked up a Howa 1500 Kuiu in 204 Ruger at Sportsmans for $379. The cerakote looks nice, trigger breaks at 3lbs and it shoots great!
