I’m heading for Eastern Oregon antelope hunt tomorrow and hit the range one last time before to see if I am in the ballpark before heading out.
The plan is to use the 243 with 95 grain Ballistic Tips and use the 6.5 Creedmoor for a backup. This may change after I shot the .25 group with the Creedmoor with 129 ABLR.

That 243 will make a fine backup gun!!

How far into SE Oregon you going? I grew up on Humboldt (NV) and Malheur (OR) boundary.
Good Luck.

Looking good. Best of luck.
Safe travels and have fun!

Nice. I grew up in southwest Oregon and in high school we used to make trips to the east to hunt coyotes and explore. Really cool over there. Good luck!

I would take the 6.5, no regrets. It will do anything the 243 is doing, only better and at longer distances (if that is something you practice and are comfortable doing).
