    280AI powder

Yep RL26 works great for this load and QL is spot on velocity for it. One thing that has come clear over a couple of years now with RL26 is that it has shot best groups in several calibers with the Magnum primers. Just shoots better with more fire at ignition regardless of caliber for me.

Anyone try R26 in the 280 ackley imp

Copy this to the "Reloading" forum and it will get much more exposure and discussion.

    7mag 150 AB 4451

Basically yes data is interchangeable for the NP, BT and AB ( but you still have to work up loads like always ). Hodgdon list max load with 150NP at 60.7 of IMR 4451 at 3045 fps from 24" barrel. IMHO you'd be better served with IMR 4955 or 7977. Have found most 7RM's to shoot best at case full...

    Nosler 308 brass/soft primer pockets?

Internet rumor, in the past nearly all Nosler brass tended to measure and weigh suspiciously near the same as Norma which would seem was Norma due to its quality as well. NOT so today, if you want Norma buy Norma, as I have also learned this past couple of weeks.

Keep Check On Your Nosler Brass! Update

Purchased 100 Norma 7RM brass and last night prepped them up. They weighed on avg 216 - 217 grains and h2o capacity was at 84 grains just like always in past. This matched the 2015 lot of Nosler brass. Also loaded neck diameter was spot on .313. Point being...... whew!, no load development...

    Red Dot

Hogdon has good data for the 147 weight bullet of various bullet types (and other weight bullets as well) Personally I prefer the 124 grain class of bullets in the 9mm Luger. 9mm Luger, 9mm Parabellum, 9x19mm and 9mm NATO are all the exact same cartridge, just depends on who you are talking to...

Keep Check On Your Nosler Brass! Update

Thank you! I don't complain lightly but when paying big money for quality I just expect to get it. Or at least some acknowledgement from the supplier that I PAID! In this situation I did not get either so not mad or upset just move on and not send them any more of my $$! I just have had higher...

DON'T BET ON IT! I beg to differ! Read post on keep check on Nosler brass!

Keep Check On Your Nosler Brass! Update

Nosler rep told me I needed to adjust load per accepted load practices, told him I would adjust this batch of brass to the TRASH CAN!!! Did NOT care! Most concerning was that he didn't care one bit! Very unconcerned! Are you kidding me, you change brass weight by over 40 grains and capacity by...

Keep Check On Your Nosler Brass! Update

Nosler brass for 7 Remington Magnum: In March 2015 purchased 100 Nosler brass, was excellent quality and weighed 215 grains. Also had some much older Norma brass that weighed 218 grains. I could load interchangeably either brass with no noticeable difference in speed or accuracy. In March 2016...

    7mm Rem Range Day

+1 Seat deeper it will come together. I hit best seating depth at 3.27 with 160AB in one gun and at 3.25 with different 7RM. But both liked the JUMP

    Boring 7MM Remington

That would be RL26 or IMR7977, both should do that + in 26" barrel. If 24" barrel H4831 is the most stable powder I've tested, less muzzleblast in the shorter barrel, not always the "most" accurate from gun to gun but if the gun likes it is most consistent all around. PS for under 600 yards...

    Boring 7MM Remington

Using RL26 in 26" tube. 71 grains gives 3,200fps with 140 AB. Accurate and fast, and does not have the big temperature swings witnessed with RL22. Temperature swings velocity on the average of .75 fps per degree for me. This barrel has always been near a 100fps slow, have worked up to 3,200 fps...

    Accubonds

Not quite an answer to your question, just my take on having shot both quite a bit I see no terminal advantage in the field in a .243 using the 90 Accubond over the 95 Hunting Ballistic tip. But the 95 Hunting Ballistic Tip is easy to tune, cheaper and nearly always available, plus is one tough...

    26 Nosler

Very COMMON for any Accubond to shoot best at .075" to .100" off. I would have tested at this seating depth FIRST as many times it is spot on the first time. You have only tested to approx. .010" off you just now getting started. Approx .130" off would put OAL in the 3.200" range! Do seating...

    26 Nosler

Don't have any experience with the 143ELDX but can say that the 142ABLR has been fussy for me ( gotta find right seating depth ). Actually ended up shooting the regular 140 Accubond with Norma 217. IMO, with the ABLR the Berger method of load development seems to work for most. I have not been...

    26 Nosler

What bullets have you shot, a lot of barrels are fussy about bullets they like. Will say that the couple I have worked with shot much lower ES's and better accuracy with Norma 217.

    QL request - 243

Varget is excellent in 70 bullet weights in the 243. Faster too.
