Thank you Dr. Mike, I'm very surprised how things turned out .
I might leave things where they are and choose a load for hunting ; play with seating later on

I really don't know too much about SD.
From what I can tell about the velocity ,is most of the charge weights are all seem to be in the same ball park .
I sighted in with Noslers AB 165 gr to the bull and then shot the loads .

Cool pics , I'll develope some loads first before trying some field positions .
I hunt roughly 10 acres , I use an elevated deer blind .
I have to let the deer sneak up on me !!!!!

Man ! I didn't know about silica sand !
My Grandmother gave me an old sewing machine years ago , finally learned how to use it to make my bags , but I used general purpose sand !
This year I'll be using sandbags ( front and rear ) do any of you hold the fore end or do you place your hand at the rear bag while squeezing the trigger with the other ?
I see a lot of people shoot with one hand , is this method more precise ?
Thanks , Ray
Thanks Vince , I had it in my mind that since data that is tested in controlled climates in the 70 s and they have their published max loads for those temps that at higher temps the loads would be less. Everyone that has replied with their experience has changed my thinking.
I really...
Thanks Preacher , 57 gr is the highest I went up in powder with my test loads.
Maybe there's a node in there somewhere from noslers data for my rifle.
Thanks again , Ray
