Have any of you folks heard of Karl Kaps Optics? Looking for some pros and cons about them. Found a 10x56 fixed power with a #4 reticle. Thanks in advance for any respones. Forgot it also has a 30mm main tube. John
Since brass is getting hard to find and i have alot of 338 Win Mag brass and no rifle for it. how much work is it to neck it down to 7mm Rem Mag. Looking for some advise, pros and cons. Thanks in advance. John
Well i picked it up. After looking over the notes that came with the rifle and pulling a bullet or two from the ammo that was handloaded and checking bullet wieghts,charges to the notes.Bullets were 130gr. powder was 54gr. of RVO30-06 . Anyway i tried 150gr Swift Sciroccos and Win brass CCI200...

Picking up a 7mm Rem. Mag. on Sunday and my question is do i need to crimp when seating the bullets since this is an autoloader? Thanks in advance to any responses.
After looking at a couple of reloading books and i've seen XMR3100. I was wondering if this is another name for AA3100? Probably a bonehead question just more to do with curiousity? Thanks, John
Actually it's close to the picture but without the open sites ,instead it has ruger's integral rings along with a blued 26" barrel andd action with the wood stock.I read your email but i think i screwed up when i typed in my response? :shock:So when i leave here i'll be trying it again. John
