I know their reply was faulty. Wish I still had pistol in 40 S&W to check how the cartridges chamber. I still have one of the Ruger Carbines I could try them in.
I wonder if it would do any good to send another email to them?
Maybe I can get rich?
When did it become appropriate? Bought 2 boxes of Win. white box fmj's two different lot #'s for a friend that doesn't reload and needed some plinking ammo. Box boxes have a roll crimp. Don't think I'll give them to her. I sent Win. customer support an email but seeing as it's the weekend...
Some more info from NECO(where I got my copy) and also the owners manual, bottom of page 66 and top of 67(my copy).
I was playing with the Propellant window-Interactive mode and you most can deffinately make permanent changes in the selected powders burn rate. Called distributor(NECO) and he...
Glad to see Nosler is including case brand and capacity of for the 338LM.
98 grains seems pretty low though. The two different head stamps that I have are as follows.
Lapua Military 98 = 113 grains of water
Factory Lapua = 116 grains of water
The one Sierra 300 MatchKing I have has a bearing...
Running a test spread with bullets seated progressively deeper. Looking for accuracy. Got too windy to move on to second batch. Velocity this AM through 35P ran 120 fps faster than QuickLoad predicted. I guess that's the trouble with predictions. I've seen this with several other cartridges...
I'm trying to get the predicted velocities to match up with what I'm seeing.
All the variables that I can measure have been accounted for except for my barrel being faster(maybe) than predicted.
Can I adjust the Ba(burning rate factor) to try and get velocities to what I'm seeing and also watch...
Excellent book! Easy to read and understand. Not filled with math formulas. The back of the book has BC's for alot of bullets the were tested out to 600 yds with acoustic chronograph.
I've got one of the 600's in 6.5RM(350 also). Haven't done alot with it. Have you guys had any issues with the necks splitting? I have and as hard as the brass is to find it should pay to anneal. Might help with accuracy too. Just bought the Bench Source annealer.
I've got two bags of bulk...
I've been playing with the Whisper since last year. I was starting to get frustrated with accuracy of both subsonic and supersonic. The best I had been able to achieve was around an 1 1/4" five shot groups. I had been using the primers(Rem 7 1/2) that were shown in the data that came with the...
The ones that I bought are like the top ones in the picture.
Thanks for all the good info. It's nice to have places like this where you come to to get info!
Picked up a box at local store. Obviously been there awhile. Four more boxes all with the same lot #. Gonna try some in my 338 Lapua.
Cannelures vary somewhat. I'll have to weigh some and see how much variation there is.
I've loaded the untipped 150 with IMR4831 @ 3394 fps.

Just got mine a couple of weeks ago. TRG 42. I've only tried one bullet and powder with 2 different charge weights. Started with 225 grn SST loaded with 87 grn Reloader 22. Velocity avg was 2921. Used these to get on target and generally see what shooting it was like. Bumped up the powder charge...
At least if you get enough people it ought to be fun....picking up all the glass and plastic littering the hillside. Just noticed there was a TV at 700 yds at the range I built.
Don't mind me picked trash yesterday at the range and need to go back an fix several target backer posts that have...
Must be slipping.
The 20 grn Midsouth bullet was also reduced to 12 grns of WC680. Uncoated Midsouth bullet and velocity was 50 fps faster than the 12.3 WC680 with mollied bullet.
