boomer68, I have been loading 130gr. ABs for my 270win in the CDL for many years now and it has always given me that kinda accuracy and with the 24" I was just over 3050fps. The terminal performance from Antelope to Moose was great as well (y).
I was more than fortunate because for over 25 years...
Guy you just can't beat a day out at the range with family :wink:, unless of course it is a day in the field hunting with them.

In the Hunt test world I have been somewhat ridiculed for attempting to train a Flatty :shock:.

My condolences sako2 on the loss of your golden they really do become family. As many have said at the right time another pup might be the cure (y).

I have only used 225gr. ABs in my Whelen and I have taken a number of Elk out 500 yards. I have been fortunate to acquire a very good supply of these bullets :wink: from a Doctor that I know (y).
I do know a young fellow from southern BC that has started to use the 225gr Sierra bullets over top...
We do not have Crappie or Bluegill here in Saskatchewan and our perch are alot easier to catch when fishing on the hard water :wink:.
Now Walleye are the most sought have fish in the southern portion of our Province and we are fortunate enough to have a very healthy population of them. As has...

When fishing up in the northern part of our Province it is always a highlight to see mature Bald Eagles. In the fall they migrate through the southern area and you see them quite often on a road kill fueling up for the travels south (y).
