    Great shooting buddy.

hodgden starting load for 7saum is compressed ?

You’d have to know which cases they used and weigh the difference between the two. That’d likely be the difference.

    Excessive headspace on virgin brass

Dan beat me to it. I false shoulder just about everything just to control headspace from the first firing.

    Rotate your hunting rifles

This question is too hard to answer. I think most of the time my selection is driven by a whim of the day. As a few said, I’m pretty lucky to have what I have.

    Ramshot Grand

That’s great news. Sounds like it’ll be in the sweet spot for a 270…. I like RS powders.

    .325 WSM/ 220gr. Sierra SBT GameKing...

Not sure, but him and Mike were the ones that coaxed me into a 325.

    .325 WSM/ 220gr. Sierra SBT GameKing...

Thanks buddy. Appreciate it. I’d imagine those 220 Sierras would be hard on elk.

    .325 WSM/ 220gr. Sierra SBT GameKing...

Dale, if you happen to run across those 220's grab me a few boxes. If not, no worries either. That 325 is a great shooter though, just been messing with 180 BT's in it, but it sure doesn't hate them.

    300 Win Mag / H1000 / 200 Accubonds test

If your 300 is straight and true you aren't likely to get traditional pressure signs till you're quite a bit about 65K. Good straight guns hide alot of stuff we have read that is a true pressure sign until you're locking bolts up. Look for 2900-3000 with H1000 or if you dare, try a little...

An experiment-Reading Primers - with a friends rifle

Yup, what Rick said. Firing pin holes that are a bit bigger will give cratering across the board. In my world, they aren't a great indicator of much other than machining. Your friends 250 is pretty slick. Very nice rifle

    348 Winchester loadtests

I am such a chicken, but I'd love to carry mine elk hunting. It does amazing with the 250 Barnes/Woodleigh bullets at 2300, that I feel like I could put one on a bull at 200 or maybe a touch more. One of these days I need to give it a walk on the mountain.. Maybe my son or brother can back me...

    Quickload data. Please. 7 SAUM

I did 140's and 160's. Figured you can read between the lines for the 150 and 154's. If you want something specific on them, let me know. Pretty cool little rifle. Let us know how it works out in real life. All great powders for that.
