When looking closely there are ring marks on the scope. It also shows action movement marks on the V-block in the stock. I think this rifle was fired a few times.

Yes I believe the quality is the same. With that being said the only Norma headstamped brass I have is for my 460 Wby and the internal capacity is not the same as Wby brass.

Yes it is. I do bump the shoulder a little more than I should. Like clockwork 6 firings on the Wby brass and it starts show its little brass ring above the belt. Hornady primer pockets give up , in fact they seemed a little loose when fresh out of the box. Nosler showing no signs of letting me...
I didn’t get around to try them. When RL33 came out I bought a couple of pounds of it and was amazed with it in my 30-378 and 338 Lapua. I picked up another 16lbs of it , at the time it was much cheaper than the Viht. powders.

The problem I saw with US869 , it’s very temperature sensitive.

RL-33 is the ticket for the 30-378 but it’s unavailable today.
I’m thinking he forgot to turn the lights on , man that’s ugly. Your guy sure did an excellent job on the receiver. That will be a cool looking rifle when done.
