How does your velocity compare to their published data? Some brass manufactured today does hide pressure very well.

IMR4350 is the powder I use in my brothers 25-06 with 117 and 120gr bullets.

Have you checked a sample of bullet’s base to ogive before loading? How much variance are you seeing in the loaded rounds?

I’ve seen some spectacular damage from .30cal BTs on deer 100yds and in. One would think at 300 yds that bullet would have a more controlled expansion. Moving to an Accubond should solve the problem.

60gr + with a spherical powder , a magnum primer seems to be your friend.

On deer either will ideal. Pick the one that shoots the best.

Some brands of dies have a VLD seating stem as an option. You may find the bullet tip is bottoming out in the stem giving you a variant in measurement. This is where a VLD stem will help.

Many of my cartridges I’m dumping 90+ grains of powder , .1 or .05 of a grain doesn’t matter as much.

Rifle and knife , I’m pretty basic as I park the 4-wheel under my stand.
