Even if it got dark on you it’s always nice to finish the day doing something you like to do. Just reading about it and knowing my own limitations I found the report quite impressive.

Roosevelt. This one got run off by a three point during the rut last year. Will be interesting to see how many calves we get this year. Had a good six point on the place several years ago which is the biggest bull I’ve seen on the homestead. Usually smaller bulls seem to hang around here.

It rains so much here I actually don’t shoot much during the Winter. Got into pellet guns a couple of years ago and I have a bench set up under cover and enjoy doing that when the weather isn’t cooperating.

Just a short trail cam video of a bobcat and coyotes. There is a cacophony of sealions barking in the Columbia River a mile away. They’re after the smelt and salmon in the river. Makes fishing hard as they will take fish off the line any opportunity they will get. Had one chase my lures right...

Filled the cow elk tag this morning. Not the best video. With the camera mount on the scope the cross hairs look crooked in the video if the camera isn’t lined up right. With the short scope rings on this rifle I need to leave it loose so I can remove it quickly to cycle the bolt.

No eagles on this trip but a few ducks. Not a lot of actions so may put you to sleep.
