I bought a new Browning A bolt for 350.00 I thought I had a steal. I bought one bag of new brass and started to reload. I could only get two inch pattern at 100 yards. I finally broke down and bought a box of ammo from sportmans to see if I could improve accuracy. The ammo out of the box...
Does anybody know if RL25 is Temp sensitive? I came up with a load of 78 grains and 130 partition .658 3 shot average. Do you think I will have to start all over if it gets cold out. Today temp 68 degrees and windy.
Thanks Aaron
I was at sportsman warehouse today and I've always dreamed about owning a 10mm. I was looking at a Kimber it felt great and was smooth as silk the only thing I didn't like was the asking price of 1049.99. Does anybody have any comments they would like to share good or bad or compared to other...
Does anybody know what would of happened if he fired a round off with a smaller sized bullet. Just wondering I loaded up some accubonds for a 270 and 30-06 I went to the range and my friend brought his 30-06 along and chambered a 270 round and was about to fire when I noticed a 270 round...
I use 50 pure alcohol and 50 distilled water and leave over night in a ultrasound cleaner. Next morning all the dirt and debris is on the bottom of the cleaner.

Here's a list of my guns.
10/22 ruger for squirls
22-250 rem 700 BDL Prairie rats and fox/yotes
.223 WSSM browning A bolt
.270 win weatherby
.270 weatherby magnum
30-30 winchester
30-378 weatherby magnum
35 rem
It's gotta be the 22-250. easy to reload. I can get the bulk pack of 55 Grain BT's at a good price and you can shoot all day with no fatigue.
keep shooting
Aaron
What type of lube do you use on your gun? I had a friend use some kind of oil that was thick and th firing pin would not slid out freely when it got cold. Make sure it's a light gun oil like Rem oil.
Just a thought

I've had 150 grain ballistic tips shatter on impact when pushing 3000. Both times the bullet hit just a rib and blew apart and created three exit wounds. If you keep them around 2700 you should be fine. I just like pushing it a little faster.
Take care Aaron
My favorite load is a 55 grain V-Max with 38.7 grains of IMR4350. A 3 shot group can be covered with a nickel at a 100 yards.
You'll love the 22-250!
Aaron
Thanks for your help. I am curious to see how the IMR7828ssc works for you. I have about five pound that my 30-378 eats up. Any other info is much appreciated.
Thanks Aaron
Has anybody got a few receipes they are willing to share for a .270 weatherby mag? I like to shoot 140 and 150 grain bullets. I did see that there was some old postings but I was hoping there would be some new loads out there that people are willing to share.
Thanks Aaron
I tried out the gun last night and it still won't shoot worth a darn. I called Browning and they want me to send it in.
Ill see what they think next.

The rub spot was at the 07:00 about two inches above the throat area. When I took off the barrel you could see folded over plastic from the molding. I used emery paper smoothed it off and now the barrel is complete free. Do you know if the short mag is an accurate gun? My 22-250 can place...
I did try a one dollar bill and there is a spot that will hang up the bill but I can get it to go thru if I do a sawing action. Should this spot be sanded down? This is Brownings composite stock.
Thanks Aaron
I was able to take a piece of floss and ran it under the barrel up to about where the throat would be. Is this what I should be looking for? (free floating)

My scope is a Leupold 3.5 X 10 X 40. I took it off my deer rifle. I shoot a 22-250 and I needed a backup gun for a P-dog hunt in october. All the screws seem tight and locktite was used. How can you tell if your barrel is free floating? This is a brand new gun and I'm total in shock that...
HI There,
I just bought a 223 wssm browning A bolt. I have been playing with Varget and my range is 37 -41 grains and I'm shooting 55 grain BT's. The best I can get is two inch grouping at 100 yards. I did buy a box of ammo and I can't hit the target from a gun rest. I am getting very...
