Thats funny i was asking because my dad gave me a savage 24 in 222/20 gauge. I have hunted with my stevens 311 20 gauge since i was 14(42 now) and for mtn quail, ruff n blue grouse and turkeys 20 has always worked for me.

Just wondering if anyone uses the 20 for predators. Years ago when I got my first shotgun I got a box of Federal supermag 3" copperplated #2 buffered shot. Wish I had bought several boxes at the time because I only have a few rounds left. What do you guys use?
I use to use it and during the powder shortages I started using rl15. I just picked up some BLC2. I never had accuracy problems. Since I havent loaded up up any ammo in 5 or 6 years with Blc2 I thought I would ask.
I have been meaning to post pics since Nov. just never got to it. Ya I usually dont like pulling the trigger at the beginning of the season, but I couldn't pass that one up. I was also happy the front loader went off as you can tell in the pic it was a lil wet n cold out.

So I picked up a thunderhawk 50 cal, the barrel is badly pitted and barely can see the rifling. When I got it is was very dirty. It is beautiful on the outside after cleaning it up, inside the barrel is ugly. At 25 yards its doesnt group on a piece of 3'x3' cardboard. I plan to take it out one...
