I'm using both Redding and Hornady. Have the Redding dies setup for Nosler's 130gr Accubond and the Hornady's setup up for the 129gr SST.
129gr SST
130gr Accubond
I ran in to a similar situation only with Nosler's "Fully Prepped, Ready to Reload" virgin brass for my .270 Winchester.
Was able chamber a round but couldn't lock the bolt. The rounds I had handloaded I had to run through a Redding body die and bump the shoulder back, the other 250pcs I had...
When I was growing up, my father had to be to work by 0530 but my mom didn't have to be in until 0700. So once my father got to work, he'd call to make sure my mother was awake getting ready. I don't know how many times he would call her, lay down the phone, walk to the other side of the...
I was but that got tossed onto the back burner. Weatherby pulling the rifle from the market was part of the reason, the rest is that most ranges within a reasonable commute from where I live land in the 100-300yd spectrum. The only range outside of that group that I'm aware of is almost six...
I wanted to go down the road of getting a 338-378. If anyone remembers the TRM (Threat Response Magnum) rifles they had about twenty years ago, that's the rifle I wanted. I went as far as getting my hands on 100pcs of brass and a set of Hornady dies to load with, from a company out of Valentine...
While I was snooping around a local sporting goods retailer, seeing if there were any inventory changes in the supplies that I'm in need of, I strolled past their clearance display where I was shocked to see a Nosler product on the shelf.
While I've seen the older boxes with the flip open top...
With "Very limited" range time, this is the best group I've gotten so from Superformance and 129gr SSTs.
I honestly think the rifle could shoot better than I can.
While I haven't had the opportunity to harvest anything with these loads. These are both from my Savage 10 Storm loaded strictly by both Nosler's and Hornady's manual.
This was with 129 SSTs and Superformance.
This was with 130gr Accubonds and RL 15.
Great group!!
Only time I've ever experienced primer misfire was with the Federal valupak 12ga shells. They would misfire in my Beretta 390 I had bought used, but fire just fine in either my 687 or 682 O/U.
After a bit of investigating, a few emails back and forth with Beretta and a brief...
Just the shipping alone is over double what the average going rate is plus hazmat.
Cost me thirty-seven to have two pounds of Reloder16 shipped from Brownells back in late June and taking advantage of the free shipping promo at MidwayUSA I only paid twenty bucks for the Hazmat fee for two...
