    300 Weatherby 210 ABLR

210 grain ABLR at 3000 ft./s should just flat out thump an elk. I can't wait to hear how it did next October or November. Did you see this in the Nosler 2014 catalog?

    300 Weatherby 210 ABLR

I have never loaded for a 300 Weatherby but started loading some for a friend. I loaded 180 grain Ballistic Tips over 7828 to the max COAL in the book. It looked a little silly because the bullet was seated so far in the case and there was so much case intrusion with a 180 Grain BT. I can't...

    Range day

Good luck that is awesome accuracy! What kind of rifle and optics are you using? How far off the lands are you running your Bergers?

    A little southern Vermin Control

I was thinking the same thing!

    6.5X57

I think it would be awesome as are all the 7x57 variants: 6mm Remington, 257 Bob, 6.5x57 and 7x57. I like the idea of improving them all. Building my first custom rifle now in a 7x57AI. At some point I would love to own them all. You would have to make your own brass as I don't think Lapua or...

    6.5X57

Just read the Hornady reloading handbook which said this originated around 1895, which makes sense as it is a couple years after the 7x57 was introduced.

    6.5X57

Maybe. I don't know a whole lot about it but thought the 7x57 was the first smokeless cartridge in 1892. I just assumed it came after that but maybe not. It's on my bucket list of calibers to acquire before I die along with: 6mm Remington Improved, and a 22 Varminter.

    A little southern Vermin Control

Wow that is really cool. I have always wanted to go hog hunting. Way to nail both of them! How much do they weigh?

    Called my bear hunting buddy...

Awesome rifles, sounds like a lot of history on the 30.06! As I have said another posts I like small rifles, but I want a 375 H&H in the worst way! They are the epitome of cool! I almost bought one awhile ago but what would I use it for? Whitman County whitetails? Someday I'll have one.

Thanks Don, that is good to know!

What kind of rifle is your son shooting in the first pic? Is that your Ruger No.1 375 you have? Now all I can think about is bear hunting!

EBERLESTOCK ARSC-CP (Scope cover and crown protector)

So guy, of the $49.99 you just saved me what's your cut?

Wow those are awesome guy! Really really cool!

EBERLESTOCK ARSC-CP (Scope cover and crown protector)

Really? Tape won't change your zero at all? Good idea and cheap! The only problem is tape won't prevent this. Hard to explain where I hunt, probably no worse than where the rest of you hunt but pretty treacherous and go down more often than I'd like. It would be a pain to remove and if you...

EBERLESTOCK ARSC-CP (Scope cover and crown protector)

Has anyone used one of these? I am probably going to buy one. I took a couple of tumbles this year, one stuffing some dirt in my muzzle requiring me to stop and clean my rifle, thought this may be a good way to eliminate that.

    OT3 ?

Hope you get better soon Charlie!

    OT3 ?

Ha ha ha. Well played Dr. Mike.

    OT3 ?

I can't wait Charlie! You guys reminiscing about nostalgic hunts got me to wondering, Dr. Mike, Guy and David - what was the feeling like in the shooting community when they came out with smokeless powders? I bet you guys were elated! Oh boy, I think I opened a can of worms on this one...
