I just received a 21st Century priming tool that uses the Lee trays. It is adjustable for primer seating depth with a turn of the knob. It isn't cheap at $128 but I should never need another priming tool.

Used them on deer at 280, 350 and 410 yards. They performed better than the 95 BT for me. All deer ran less than 20 yards with lung shots. Can't say that for the 95 BTs.
You're overly worried. Any custom barrel really just needs to be cleaned at the end of a shooting session. Make sure you use a bore guide and you'll be good to go.

While I usually reload, I saw where Nosler had a sale on the Nosler Defense .308 168 over-run ammunition. The price was $18/box/20 and I thought it too good a price to pass up. I noticed the twist recommendation is a 1/10.
Why the need for a 10 twist when the bullet is shorter than a 168...
I want to use the 123 gr custom competition on deer out of my .260 this Fall. Who has tried it and how did they perform? I realize this is not a hunting bullet but could not pass up the price and BC.

Chrono was setup 10' away; ~3 good steps from muzzle. Another thing to note is that the sun was in a different portion of the sky due to chrono'ing in Winter vs. Spring.
So I loaded up some Nosler 95 grain Ballistic Tips in a factory Remington 700 24" ADL $297 Wal-Mart special back in January and shot them in 43 degree weather. From the looks of it, the 41.4 gr load looked promising but was hoping for more velocity. My target and velocities are as follow...
Your complaining about shipping from the Pro Shop so make it worth your time....Buy 500+ at a whack. It's flat-rate and it cheaper to ship once than multiple times. My last order I bought 500 at one time....Wished I would have bought a 2K.
I too have used the CLP foaming bore cleaner and it's expensive but it works!!! I have found that it works best if you remove the powder fouling first and then squirt the foam in. After removing the foam from the barrel, I go back with Butches Bore Shine and run a few wet patches through the...
I have started reloading for my Stevens 200 .223 using Nosler 55 gr Spire Points. Can anyone recommend a good shooting load for this setup using:
Varget powder
Winchester brass
CCI 400 primers
My initial tests have found that I can't seat the bullet even remotely close to the rifling due to...
