    Still a beginner

I'm having this issue too. I haven't tried to use the classifieds but I am still showing as a beginner and I have logged out on both my computer and phone at the same time but when I log back in it still shows the same.

    New Springfield P-35

I'm wanting to get my hands on one but no one in town has any at this time even though they all have them ordered. The Hi Power is one gun I have always said I was going to buy and never have. Bruce

    Electronic Powder Measure

I have the RCBS that was built by Pact and have used it for 20 years or maybe more. I recently got a RCBS chargemaster Lite and like it so for. It sometimes will be off 1/10 or so one way or another when checked by my 502 beam scale but it's consistent so I just adjust input to get what I want...

    Today's ram photo:

Very nice photo Guy. Sometimes it's good to have help getting wildlife to "pose" for you. Looks like you have a great partner. Bruce

    Tripod follow up.

What tripod did you end up getting?

    Tripod follow up.

I have seen that one but not used one. I have one of their 3 way pan heads on my big Bogan tripod and one of their ball heads on my lighter weight Manfroto. Well actually the light one has a gimbal head I’m trying with my 600mm lens. Bruce

    Tripod advice??

I know Gitzo makes some taller tripods and they are a very product. Google “Tall Tripods” and several come up but a lot are not quite tall enough for your need. Some are tall enough but I have no experience or knowledge of the brand.

    Cracking up at myself

I had a Sigma 17-40 when I first went digital. It was a little soft and I traded it and some cash for the canon version. The 150-600 gets very good reviews and the fact is if you want a 600mm and you want to stay with the major brands you have to be ready to spend used car money because you can...

Nice Ram and well done photographs. I love seeing the ram photos. Thanks for sharing them. Bruce

    Cracking up at myself

Thanks Guy. I'm pretty happy with it so far. There is a little learning curve with what it will and wont do and what to expect from it. Also what I need to do with my settings to get to it's full potential. I had several not so good photos but most had to do with the operator not the lens. I've...

    Black Bear

Thanks Guy, These photos were taken in Cades Cove which is part of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The bears there never really hibernate. They will den up in the colder weather and of course to give birth but it's not like in the colder climates where they will den/sleep for 3-4 months...

    What has happened to Speer?

I haven't seen many but there were a few online at a couple of sites a few months back and I got 3 boxes of 100 grain .257 caliber. What I haven't hardly seen any of are Sierra's Bruce

    Whitetail Buck II

Still working through photos. Here is another buck taken earlier in the day but only about 400-500 yards from where the other buck I posted was.

    Whitetail Buck

Another image from Thanksgiving weekend and the Sigma lens. As you can tell he had been chasing a doe that wasn't overly accepting of his advances.

    Black Bear

Over Thanksgiving weekend I got a chance for the wife and I to get away and for me to try out my new Sigma 150-600 f6.3 lens. This one was only set to 361mm and was then cropped but I had to get this one quickly as she went through and opening in the trees. This one is one of her cubs and was...

    Rings help?

Burris and Leupold both made bases like this but if I remember correctly to Leupold had a scalloped edge running down the top sides and the Burris were squared corner like this on. Maybe that didn't hold true for all of them though it's been awhile and my rememberer isn't what it use to be. Bruce
