I'm glad I stock up whenever I can. I have several thousand of every size, and never buy less than 1000 at a time.

    Model 70 Glass Bedding Question

Just wanted to update this one. Bedding was successful and I am now getting groups instead of patterns. The shot at 9:00 was prior to the first scope adjustment, which then resulted in the 3 shot group in the center. It measured just under 1". Made one more adjustment and hit dead center...

    Bittersweet Projectile Haul

If you have ever been to Spokane, and you have any inclination to hunt or fish, you have likely heard of the White Elephant. After 75 years they have decided to close up. Prices now are pretty ridiculous., if you can find something you need. Here is my haul of bullets and mounts. $150 out...

    Fixed power versus Variable power

1-4x and 1.5-5x is all I have bought in the past 10 years or so. I have higher power scopes on a few rigs, but low power variables or fixed 4x are what have been getting used for all my hunting lately.

    New to me.

That's great. I'm really liking the 1-4x range scopes. Tons of field of view at 1x.

    Winchester 70 375 Extractor

The 375 and 300 are the same head dimensions, so I would think that would be the correct one.

    45-70 cast bullets

I've used H335 with great success in my Ruger #1. 3 holes cutting each other. Old RCBS Cast manual shows 30-32 grains of 2400 in the Ruger for a 425 cast.
