What gets me is the use of the word(s) "case head"..............think about it! Now remember where the neck, body and shoulder is.................yup! Now the head is at the feet? Should it be case base, knee or ankle separation? Sounds more reasonable!
thats nice. i have a ar-10 in 308win. when i bought the bolt and carrier, i ordered a .534 bolt for my favorite 350 remington magnum i shoot in a pistol.
i intend to buy a 350 rem mag upper/or barrel and figure out how to get many rounds into a MAG. so i feel safer with a semi auto belted mag...
Some data in Lee's are not specific, but some show (example) xtp. Bullet length and bearing surface increase pressure. I do have a Lee manual, but wish they had a newer volume! Lee, are you listening?
Sierra has long discontinued their 85gr bullets in 26cal. I used to shoot a bunch of those out of a 264wm. Now Speer 90tnt is the lightest I have, but did buy some special 92.6gr Sierra's boat-tails. Not sure who special ordered them? I wish Barnes still had the tac-x!
Construction has some to do with jackets departing. Average might be around 326,000-340,000?
formula for rpm's,
muzzle velocity x 12 / twist x 60 = rpm
3,500 x 12 / 7.25 x 60 = 347,568rpm
3,400 = 337,655rpm

With not being totally antiquated using ql I was doing a load for 357sig. I did use the powder selected in ql (blue dot) for a near max pressure. Loaded 100 rounds and off to the range I went. I had a comp on it and shot a few clips ;) (mags) then removed the comp and shot some more...
