Sue got me an electric hoist for my birthday and that started to ball rolling. I upgraded the hoist to a 1 ton capacity. Bought a 5" x 12' I Beam and a 4x6x 12' timber. Got the timber up in the trusses to work with one I already had up there. Got some 3/8" threaded rod and suspended the I beam.
My neighbor buddy was a huge help. We used the Polaris winches to get the I beam in place and bolt it in.
Hung the hoist and trolley on the I beam and moved the electrical outlet. The 110v cord is the only thing I need to figure out. A coiled cord would be ideal, if I can find one.
Next year I'm going to spray foam insulate and do metal side walls and ceiling. That will be the last big project. Yeah!
