    Luck of the Draw!

I'm having a little bit of trouble getting the other pictures. But here it is with it's grandson. Two fantastic battle rifles.

    Luck of the Draw!

A few months ago I ordered a field grade HRA M1 Garand from CMP. I didn't hear anything for two and a half months so I gave them a call. The customer service rep notified me that they no longer had field grade HRAs, but was able to offer me a Springfield instead. Awesome! That's what I...

    Berger bullet differences

I know the 185 OTM Juggernauts were designed to go transonic in the 300 WM, according to the box sitting on my desk. I might be wrong, but I think the differences are sensitivity to seating depth vs. maximum BC. The VLDs have the highest BC, but are more sensitive to seating depth. The...

    Loading into the Lands.

Scotty I'm going to have to try the graphite on the ogive. The 185 Bergers kept getting stuck in the rifling so I gave up for the time being.

    Value of Redfield Accu-range?

The Snipershide.com vintage rifle section would be a good reference for these scopes.

    Loading into the Lands.

Ok, I tried the small dent in the neck trick (That will come out when I size right?) and it didn't really work with one dent. After five attempts with measurements ranging from 3.544 to 3.599, I put another small dent in the neck and measured four attempts at 3.513, four at 3.514, one at 3.515...

I tried this but I'm really not sure if I'm doing it right.

    Loading into the Lands.

How catastrophic would loading a 220 PT into the lands over a starting load of IMR 7828 in a .300 Win Mag? When you load into the lands how hard would closing the bolt be? I ask because I'm starting with the 220 PTs and with a max COAL of 3.480 it chambers effortlessly. I have no accurate way...

IMR 7828 vs. IMR 7828 ssc

I bought a pound of 7828 SSC out of frustration with RL-22's lack of performance in my rifle and the fact that I couldn't find any of it to work with. Best thing I ever did. I love it in my 300 Win Mag with 190 CCs. I have a pound of regular 7828 for 220 PTs, hopefully it will work out just...

    Doggone Nosler!

I got a look at the long range TGR at SHOTShow, what a rifle! It's a really nice set up, and I mean a REALLY nice set up. I love the more intermediate length action on their short actions.

    This will torque some jaws.

Looks like Lautenberg won't be going anywhere with this legislation.

    ...and it just keeps gettin'...

I think it's important to have dreams SE, and as long as I get to leave and go back to real America, it wouldn't bother me one bit.

Where the .223/5.56 is legal for big game...

Pretty sure it's legal in California. Don't quote me on that though. I'm pretty sure the hunting laws here were written in a such a confusing way just to discourage people from doing it.

    Gun Safe Location.

I kept my safe in the garage in my garage in Colorado with no issues and my current is not temperature controlled. The temperature here is usually pretty good and I've only added two big dehumidifiers to the floor of the safe.

What do you guys think about this happening on American soil

In every picture I've seen, there's at least one dude drawing down on the photographer.

    Button or Cut Barrel?

As long as you get a barrel from a reputable manufacturer I don't think one is better than the other.
