Ya just can't beat Nosler AccuBonds as far as I'm concerned. This old buck fell at the crack of the rifle when hit with a Nosler 150 gr. bullet out of my .308 Winchester! Dude was 6 1/2 years old and fat as a butterball! This bullet works well for me and has for quite sometime now!
MERRY...
That's a little late for my era as I was with the AMU from '60 through '63!
My apology for being late in replying but this year got away from me way to quick! Been busy busy busy!
.308 Rem M700 VS by Sharps Man, on Flickr
Standard Remington M700 action/barrel. I bought the only left-handed action rifle Remington is putting out today with a heavy 26" barrel, tore it out of the stock it came in and bedded it into the stock you see in the photo. It's an HS Precision stock...
This is the best I can get mine to deliver:

Ten rounds from 900 yards.
Guess I'm just gonna have to use it for boat anchor material!

You need something like this; AR500 1/2" thickness! I paint mine white and the impacts stand out akin to a 5 carat diamond in a Billygoat's behind....all the way back to wherever! I shoot early and late....and it's no problem on account of mirage to see the POI! If in snow country paint...
Three of my grandsons came out today and we shot from 800 yards and had a great afternoon! I forgot to take photos so none to show. I have one 15 years age, his brother is 17, both belonging to my son, and the older grandson is 20 which is my daughters child. Yes...I've been blessed as all three...
in the fact as to WHY many people who wish to shoot farther than 100 yards wish to make it difficult as if by magic they don't know the voodoo words to make it happen! The real challenge as a matter of fact is that of finding a place to shoot for the wannabe long shooters! The guys that live...
Doc
I know a lot about aircraft/flying/rifles/hunting, and marksmanship training!
I know nothing about women.....except that it doesn't pay to argue with one....even though you're right!! (y) :(
First time for my Grandson Brett to shoot at 400 yards. We started out 3 years back at age 5 with a .22 LR and he's progressing quite well...absorbs instruction akin to a sponge! Plays football, baseball, and basketball and straight +A in private school. He's shooting a .308 Winchester I bought...
Fellows...believe it or not.....Britt shot that as a 'cull'.....to get it out of the premises!! Look at the right side of the rack! Here's his last years bowkill:
