    I might have screwed up!

I'm not really salaried, I'm guaranteed to make so much every two weeks. I can make more than guarantee if the work is there, but we've suffered a slow down since early June. Luckily I'm not furloughed like some of my coworkers.

    The MIGHTY 444 Marlin

I've only messed with the .444 in wildcat form as the .375 JDJ. There is plenty of case capacity to make it a very versatile cartridge. However, I've tried to really like lever action rifles and they just aren't my forte.

    I might have screwed up!

The way I understood things B&C still made the stock, but Montana Rifle Co owns the mould. I could be wrong though, it has been known to happen a time or two. It's a little heavier than what I hoped to build, but the trigger and the larger magazine are a bonus. Especially when I was looking...

    I might have screwed up!

First one is a NOS Rem M700 ADL .243 Win (has J-Lock & open sights) and have NIB B&C Mountain rifle stock gray with black web $650 plus shipping for both. This was my donor rifle and future stock for it. No need for it but it is just a rebore away from a .338 Fed or .358 Win if no one buys it...

I think the fumes got to this guy!

I know there everywhere, but this guy seems overly optimistic to quote Dr Mike. Check out his other auctions: http://www.gunbroker.com/Bolt-Action-Ri ... ageIndex=2

    Back to the Rifles!

Congratulations Guy, I'm sure the ol' .25-06 with 110 AB or 115 Grain PT could handle all three species quite well. Good luck with your recovery.

    Playing with paint

This is the video I watched before I attempted my paint job. It was pretty easy to follow, I sprayed everything light tan first and then went over it with sage green and flat black. I wasn't sure I liked it, but it looked a lot better with the barreled action in it and in the sunlight than it...

    Playing with paint

It has three coats of Krylon matte clear on top of the camo paint job. I'd love to refinish the metal in some sort of finish but right now I don't have the funds available to do it.

    Playing with paint

I've been working on this rifle for a neighbor kid that comes over and helps me out around the place. It's just a simple M670 Winchester in .270 Win barreled action I had . I found a used McMillan Winlite stock an spot bedded the recoil lug. Threw a Burris FFII 3-9X40 LRS (lighted ballistic...

.300 Savage 130 grain TSX or TTSX for elk?

How many elk are killed every year with handguns and muzzle loaders that don't ever produce 1600-1700 ft-lbs of energy at the muzzle let alone any range. That doesn't stop these people from being successful hunters. There is absolutely no rule of thumb to kill an elk with energy, it's all...

.300 Savage 130 grain TSX or TTSX for elk?

Your info was different from my friends as the info you recieved from Barnes contradicts what I have. For years Barnes has always stated drop a bullet weight and up your velocity with their bullets for reliable expansion and overall performance. Plus if this email I have from Barnes is correct...

What & where did you draw this year?

I just drew a bull elk tag, nothing special just burned my points so me and my daughter can be on the same sheet. She drew nothing as well, but that was to be expected. I did however pick her up a landowner pronghorn tag, and she should have drawn a left over muzzle loader deer tag...
